Day 1 Punta Arenas/Torres del Paine
Pick up from Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales and transfer to Tierra Patagonia. Knowledgeable, skilled and experienced guides lead Tierra Patagonia’s excursions. Excursions vary from treks, horseback rides across the Patagonian steppe and exhilarating mountain hikes. These activities enable all guests to see all corners of the National Park as well as areas less travelled. Guests will see world-famous locations and meet locals who live and work in this unique setting.
Day 2 Torres del Paine
Choose from a range of half-day and full-day excursions that cater for every fitness level and interest. Small groups ensure maximum enjoyment on your excursions! From 4WD adventures to horse-riding and hiking- Tierra Patagonia has something for everyone. Suggested excursion options include:
– Laguna Azul: a scenic journey to enjoy spectacular views of the North, Central and South towers, weather permitting. Enjoy a short walk along the north shore of the lake and in springtime and summer see many birds in the lenga woods.
– Paine Massif: a full day exploring the western part of the park. This is the best option to see a large part of the park in just one day, with stops at various places for taking great photographs. The journey finishes in the area of Lake Grey, where there are glaciers, ice floes and feathery Nothofagus woods.
– Cerro Guido Horseride: an easy two-hour ride to a high plain, where we can view the valley of Cerro Guido, Lago del Toro, Lake Sarmiento, the Paine massif and Cerro Cazador.
Day 3 Torres del Paine
Enjoy another full day exploring the dramatic landscape of Patagonia. Suggested excursion options include:
– Salto Grande: a scenic journey to some of the most classic areas of Torres Del Paine National Park. A short walk will bring you to Salto Grande, a magnificent waterfall.
– Pingo Valley and Grey Peninsula: a medium level hike through one of the greenest areas of the park, Pingo Valley, to reach a small waterfall. After lunch, visit Grey Lake, where you can see Grey Glacier in the distance.
– Hunters Trail: a 2-3 hour hike to see cave paintings from the Aonikenk, hunter-gatherer native Indians that occupied this area some 6,000 years ago. It is also one of the best areas to see wildlife such as guanacos, foxes and condors.
Day 4 Torres del Paine
Enjoy another full day exploring the dramatic landscape of Patagonia. Suggested excursion options include:
– Condoreras: a medium level hike with stunning views of the Torres del Paine, Sierra Contreras, Sierra del Toro and also the hotel, from a 360° viewpoint.
– French Valley: a challenging full-day hike that will take you up French Valley to the viewpoint below spectacular French Glacier. There are great views of the Cuernos del Paine on the way.
Day 5 Torres del Paine
After breakfast, transfer back to Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales for your onward flight.
