The MV Peralta Cruise is the first luxury ship in the Pantanal. Operating in the Pantanal for more than 25 years, the cruise is the ideal option to appreciate the exuberant nature with a sophisticated and modern structure, that offers high quality service combined with all the confront that pleases the most demanding clients.
Upon your arrival at the airport we will begin our adventure in the Pantanal area. First stop will be at the TransPantanal Highway for photos and a brief explanation about the region in the city of Pocone. Later we will make a stop for a coffee
break at the traditional Pousada do Pixaim, which has a wide Corixo (a channel connecting lakes) where we will be able to see the alligators and other common regional wild animals.
We continue with the transfer for another 60 km of dirt road to the Porto Jofre, where we will board the Peralta Boat. Enjoy an introductory brief with the crew and a welcoming drink and snacks at the restaurant.
This afternoon we’ll meet in the lounge for a briefing about the schedule and all activities, and we will enjoy a coffee break on the top deck to enjoy the view and the sunset while we navigate along the river.
After learning about the region, identifying the sites we have visited and will be visiting, we will depart in speedboats for night viewing of alligators and other wild life species.
Today we will rise early to see the sunrise on the top deck and then have breakfast and prepare to depart on speedboats for a Jaguar Expedition, we will set out towards the Parque Estadual do Encontro das Águas (Meeting Waters State Park), Baia dos 3 Irmãos (3 Brothers Bay) where the three mains rivers in the region meet.Make sure you keep an eye open to spot jaguars and the local flora and fauna.
Upon return to the boat we will have lunch and a presentation about the main species of birds and mammals of the region, later we will continue on our jaguar expedition setting out towards the Parque Estadual do Encontro das Águas, and Piquiri River Bay.
We will return to the boat for sunset and we will have a cooking class with our chef teaching how to make the delicious typical piranha broth.
We rise early to watch the sunrise from the top deck, after breakfast we will set out towards the Parque Nacional do Pantanal Mato-Grossense (Mato Grosso Pantanal National Park) to the Santa Teresinha Farm, searching for sightings of jaguars and the viewing of the fauna and flora.
Later this day we will dock at a typical Pantanal farm where the international “Panthera Brazil” NGO and an elementary school known as “Jofre Velho” (Old Jofre) operate. We will have the opportunity to learn more about local culture and the daily routine of a Pantanal life and the riverside families; in addition to a small hike around the site and an interaction activity with the children. We will have lunch there and then continue on our Jaguar Expedition.
Returning to the boat, we will hold a closing meeting in the lounge, where you can exchange photos and project them on the big screen. Enjoy the craft beers made with typical Pantanal ingredients in the lounge and then the barbecue on the top deck for our closing dinner.
Today is the last day to enjoy the sunrise at the top deck. After enjoying the breakfast we will check out and we will be transferred to the Cuiaba airport for your outgoing flight.
