ITINERARY

Day 1 Baltra/Santa Cruz Isl.

In the morning, your flight will arrive at Baltra Island airport, where your guide will greet you. From there, you’ll travel to the Itabaca Channel for a short, scenic seven-minute ferry crossing to Santa Cruz Island. The journey continues with a 50-minute private transfer to Pikaia Lodge through the picturesque highlands.

Upon arrival, settle into your luxurious surroundings and join an afternoon briefing to review the week’s activities. The session will also highlight the unique features of Pikaia Lodge and the Galapagos Islands. After dinner, guests can enjoy an immersive experience in the Explorers Lounge with a screening of Sir David Attenborough’s 3D HD documentary on the Galapagos, providing fascinating insights into this remarkable destination.

Today is dedicated to land explorations on Santa Cruz Island. Each morning, the lodge’s expert staff crafts tailored excursions using satellite weather imagery, wildlife seasons, and tidal data. Depending on the conditions, activities may include visits to pristine beaches, volcanic craters, or ancient lava tunnels. You might also encounter giant tortoises and endemic wildlife or visit the Charles Darwin Research Station at the National Park. For a glimpse into local culture, explore organic coffee farms in the highlands and learn about the life of the island’s settlers.

Day 3 Santa Cruz Isl.

Yacht Adventure to Santa Fe and South Plaza Islands
Embark on a full-day yacht exploration aboard the exclusive PIKAIA I Yacht. Early in the morning, transfer to the port and board the luxury vessel. Once aboard, enjoy a hearty American breakfast while private cabins are assigned. The day’s activities include options like hiking volcanic trails or snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, offering opportunities to spot vibrant marine life.

At midday, a buffet lunch is served as the yacht sails to its next destination. The afternoon includes more hiking or snorkelling at another visitor site. Between activities, relax in air-conditioned private cabins, soak in the Jacuzzi, sunbathe on the deck, or join engaging discussions with your guides.
