ITINERARY

Day 1 San Jose

Arrive at San José International Airport, where your adventure begins. Transfer to your hotel and take the rest of the day to relax or explore the city’s vibrant culture, charming streets, and local cuisine.

Day 2 San Jose/Tortuguero

Travel through the breathtaking Braulio Carrillo National Park, a dense rainforest filled with towering trees and exotic wildlife. Arrive in Guápiles and board a scenic longboat for a journey through the winding canals of Tortuguero. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through this remote village, famous for its sea turtle nesting grounds.

Day 3 Tortuguero

Day 4 Tortuguero/Arenal Volcano

Day 5 Arenal Volcano

Day 6 Arenal Volcano/Monteverde

Enjoy a picturesque boat ride across Lake Arenal before continuing your journey by road to Monteverde. This charming mountain town is known for its misty cloud forest and rich biodiversity. The afternoon is free to explore this charming cloud forest town or simply relax and soak in the natural beauty.

Day 7 Monteverde

Today’s tour will take you to one of Costa Rica’s most famous ecotourism destinations, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Admire orchids, bromeliads, and towering strangler figs. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the rare and beautiful resplendent quetzal.

Day 8 Monteverde/Manuel Antonio

Descend from the mountains and head to Manuel Antonio, a paradise where tropical rainforest meets white-sand beaches. Enjoy free time to relax by the ocean or explore the lively town. Manuel Antonio is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest alive with wildlife.

Day 9 Manuel Antonio

Experience Costa Rica’s striking coastline and abundant marine life on a kayak and snorkel tour. Paddle along the coast, stop at Biesanz Bay for a swim, and snorkel around the colorful coral reef before indulging in a delicious local lunch.

Day 10 Manuel Antonio/San Jose

Take a guided nature walk through Manuel Antonio National Park, spotting sloths, monkeys, and exotic birds along the way. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the park’s idyllic beaches or opt for a catamaran cruise to soak in the stunning Pacific coastline. In the afternoon, transfer back to San José.
